Dr. Steve Alcuri - Steve has been with Windcrest since 1982.  Since his teens Steve has been on a quest to deepen his knowledge and skills in the art of riding properly.  He found that Dede and Peter had the breadth of knowledge needed to foster his dream.  Steve is a Pediatrician, loves Scuba diving and riding his 18+ hand horse named Jasper.  Late in life, I took up scuba diving, as a response to an invitation to spend Christmas in the British Virgin Islands.

Dr. MaryBeth Lewandowski - MaryBeth received her Doctorate of Music from Catholic University where she was the professor of flute for 18 years.  She assists with the WCF website, manages Clinics and rides Sparky and Sam under Dede's tutelage.  MB's first career was as a professional Flutist playing such venues as the Kennedy Center, Baltimore Opera and Internationally as well.  Her current career is as a REMAX sales associate specializing in Horse Properties and Residential homes.  Loves horses, archery, cooking, entertaining and of course, her family.

Valerie Scott - I was an academic whiz.  I graduated high school as a valedictorian and winner of the Mathematics Award.  My Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics was obtained from the University of Virginia with high distinction.  Following graduation from college I worked at the original operations research firm in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, ORI, Inc., where I was in my field of expertise, mathematics.  While working at ORI, Inc., I obtained my Masters of  Science in Numerical Science at the Johns Hopkins Evening College at their Applied Physics Laboratory, learning from some of the best minds in the industry.  I owned Telly, also known as Note Teller, for twenty five years until his death.  Telly was a gorgeous thoroughbred with a lot of athletic ability.  Dede and Peter Bierbrauer of WindCrest Farm helped Telly survive an exuberant childhood.

Eowyn Ellison - Eowyn Ellison - I've been working at UMD (Go Terps!) for over 20 years and in Institutional Research for 16.  My husband and I enjoy playing board games, riding roller-coasters, visiting carousels and Ren Fests.  We met at the Maryland Renaissance Festival and both still work there.  I have been at Windcrest for over 20 years.  I stay because I like having my horses at a place with a good atmosphere, people who know and love horses taking care of them, the trust I have for Dede and Peter, the excellent instruction, and the ability to ride at night without being relegated to far corners because of a huge lesson program.

Megan Ohmer - Hi, I'm Megan. I have been riding horses since I was 9 years old and I have had my horse, Shah, for 13 years. I am currently a medical student in the Navy and will become a Navy physician in less than a year. I am glad I keep my horse at WindCrest because I feel confident that Dede and Peter take great care of my horse when I cannot be there very often.

Graduating College in 2012 she was a barn manager for the University of South Carolina before changing career fields to be a veterinary technician. She keeps two horses with Dede and Peter. Walker is her Hanoverian and he will be her dance partner in the show ring starting this spring. Arcona is her 28 year old TB/WB cross who she has owned since she was 14. Andrea is happy to have both of her horses at the same farm and even though both of their needs are very different, she has full confidence they are receiving all of the love and care possible at Windcrest Farms!
